Install Signature Pad Software

If you have the T-460 or T-461 Topaz signature pad, the follow instructions can be used to install the necessary software to make it work with the Zeamster Portal.

 

  1. Remove all previous Topaz software.
  2. Download and save the latest version of SigWeb by clicking on the following link.:  http://www.topazsystems.com/software/sigweb.exe
  3. When the download has been saved, double click the file to begin setup and continue through the install process.
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Once complete, open a web browser and go to this page for testing:  https://www.sigplusweb.com/sigwebtablet_demo.htm
  6. The signature pad will work once the installation is complete. 

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:

  • Confirm the browser being used is Chrome or Firefox.  
  • Reboot the computer (if you haven't already)
  • If the signature pad demo site does not work, go to "Start" -> Run -> type in "cmd" and hit enter.
    • A black DOS window will be displayed. Type in "ping tablet.sigwebtablet.com" hit enter, you should see an IP of 127.0.0.1 being displayed,
    • if not then you need to add the following line to "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts" file:
  • If all of the above steps fails, contact Topaz support to get the software working.
  • Once the demo site above is working, the signature pad will work with the Zeamster portal properly.
