Void a Transaction

Difference between Void and Refund

       Voids are done on same-day transactions. This is the money that hasn't been settled within a day and hasn't been deposited into your bank account.

       A refund is processed after the monies are deposited into your bank account (meaning the original transaction has settled).

 

How to Void a Transaction

    1. Navigate to the contact's transaction that you wish to void.

This can be done immediately after running a transaction when the Transaction Detail screen is open, or by selecting the contact's transaction and clicking on the date to display the Transaction Detail Window.

             

 

2. At the bottom of this screen, there is a Void Trans button, click this to pull up the void menu.

           

     3. The void amount will pre-populate for you and you can enter a description if you choose. Click Void Transaction to complete the void.

            

4. After the void is processed, you will see the Voided status within the Transaction History section of the Transaction Detail screen.
