Payer name on check is the insurance company

Q: "We sometimes receive letters with credit card information to use to make payments from an insurance company. In this case the payer name is not the patient but it is the insurance company. How would you suggest we go about running these payments?"

A: Yes we see this often. When you go to run the payment, we allow you to change the name of the cardholder, just change the name. You can also tag DNP which stands for Do Not Post, and it won’t post the transaction if you want to manually post it.
